About 625 thousand people are expected to pass through the airport between April 11 and 17, which is 10.58% more than last year. More than 4,000 low-cost airline flights will serve passengers these days.

 

To improve service and security at the airport, new technologies have been introduced: self-check-in counters, automatic baggage drop systems, passenger screening systems and automated boarding gates.

 

Passengers are offered convenient ways to book subsequent trips through online services and specialized kiosks at the airport. For transportation around the city, SRT and commuter bus services are available, as well as 3,508 parking spaces with regular shuttle buses to connect to the terminals.

 

During Songkran, passengers are allowed to carry water pistols, which do not look like real weapons, and flavored water in sealed containers up to 1 liter. This will allow passengers to fully enjoy the holiday traditions of Thailand.
